is a nationally recognized trade
only/wholesale manufacturer of art pictures
and mirrors. Our headquarters and
manufacturing facility is in Linthicum,
Maryland, about 2 miles from BWI airport.
Our customers are medium to higher end
furniture stores, interior designers,
specialty stores and hospitality facilities
all over the US & Canada. Our Marketing and
Sales department which includes a national
sales force and 3 showrooms works
collaboratively to sell our product to a
variety of industries & venues.
We are currently seeking a Sales and
Marketing Coordinator to work directly with
and support the National Sales Manager.
Primary Focus: To work directly with the
National Sales Manager and the Creative
Director to find and develop new business,
and maintain our existing customer base.
This position demands personal leadership
skills to drive and rally other area
resources around key sales and marketing
responsibilities. This position works
collaboratively with multiple departments to
ensure departmental participation in company
goals and directives.
Duties include:
This person will work with the Creative
Director in the planning, creation,
production, dissemination and maintenance of
sales & marketing materials. Develop sales
presentations, including material
preparation for key accounts and prospects.
This person will be required to maintain and
update data bases, qualify new customers,
coordinate and track sales activities
including managing the lead generation
process. Position will involve scheduling
and coordinating travel, events, client
interaction, presentations and trade show
activities. Working with the National Sales
Manager providing support in a variety of
venues. Creating, developing, and
implementing sales campaigns to support the
various sales departments. Maintain
continued relationships with sales reps and
customers. Participate in trade
associations. Assist in developing
performance standards and follow up to
accomplish annual individual sales goals for
our sales force. Knowing company resources
in order to develop business priorities and
carry out sales plans. Engage in continuous
learning & secure feedback from customers
and sales reps. Travel and participation in
various semi annual trade shows.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess PC
Skills, MS Office proficiency in business
software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook. A knowledge (or willingness to
learn) PhotoShop, Quark and Access/ACT. Must
have great organizational skills, attention
to detail, ability to multi-task and
prioritize. This person must show
creativity, initiative, and an
entrepreneurial spirit. Also critical are
strong interpersonal and networking skills,
and excellent verbal & written communication
skills. A keen ability to problem solve,
anticipate, work independently while meeting
deadlines and be a team player is essential.
Qualified candidates will possess at least a
2-year degree in business administration,
sales, marketing or a related field, with
3-years of hands-on experience. A
combination of additional sales, marketing
or business education/experience totaling
five years may be substituted for degree.
